Welcome to the Springfield Food Coop’s Wellness Department.
We carry the finest selection of vitamins, dietary supplements, herbal remedies, and homeopathic remedies in the greater Springfield, Ludlow, Chester, and Claremont areas. We carry New Chapter, Country Life, Renew Life, Boiron Homeopathics, and so much more. Our friendly staff is trained and knowledgeable and thoroughly selects all of the items we carry. Our staff will personally assist you in finding natural alternatives to enhance and increase your health and well-being.
Our Health and Beauty department carries a wide variety of high-quality, natural body-care products ranging from shampoos, soaps, and bath accessories to lotions, essential oils, medicinal salves and ointments, and skincare. We have products from established companies like Badger Balm, DermaE, Nature’s Gate, and Acure, as well as locally made, unique Vermont products from Vermont Bee Balm, Elmore Mountain Farm, Luce Farm, Springfield Soap Company, and more. Wellness Special Orders
Co-op members are entitled to a 10% discount when they pre-order cases of any Supplement or Body Care item. Both items that we carry on the shelf and those which we do not carry but can order are included in this discount opportunity.
- Some items that come as a case of 6 include all Field Day body care, Tom’s of Maine, Sunsoil, Mrs. Meyer’s, Preserve, most dental flosses, and more.
- Many items are available to us as singles instead of cases; in this instance, when a product does not have to be purchased wholesale as a case, the 10% case discount will apply when the customer pre-orders 3 or more of the same product. This applies to most but not all supplements.
- If an item is already on sale, the customer is welcome to make a special order pre-order for the discounted price; however, extra case discounts will not apply.
- Wellness Wednesday 5% discount does not apply to any special order items.
- Members are able to receive an extra 5% discount on case special orders of NOW supplements, on top of the daily 10% member discount on NOW supplements.
- Special pricing applies to PRE-ORDERS ONLY and is subject to availability. Filling special order pre-orders with shelf stock is at the discretion of the Wellness Manager.
Bulk Spice and Herb Special Orders
Members are eligible for a 10% discount on pre-orders of 1lb bags of any Frontier Co-op or Crystal Garden bulk herb or spice. This discount applies to pre-orders only; any 1lb bag bought from back stock by a member or non-member will be the same price as 16 x (price of 1 oz). 10% case discount applies to all pre- or special-order bulk spice, herbs, and teas, at the minimum amount that product comes from the supplier, from 8oz to 5lbs, dependent on the product.
