Front End Manager
The Springfield Food Co-op is looking for a full-time Front End Manager to join our management team in mid-January 2017. This full-time position is responsible for providing an excellent customer service experience for each customer and member, while ensuring consistent administration of practices, policies, and procedures. Position responsibilities include hiring, training and supervising cashiers, ensuring accurate cash registers, scheduling the department, and working with the membership database. The Front End Manager works closely with the General Manager and other managers to develop and implement goals that uphold and honor the values and principles of the Springfield Food Co-op and the cooperative identity.
Required:
Supervisory experience and/or experience with labor budgeting
Customer service experience in a retail environment
Computer literate (POS systems, Excel)
Knowledge of co-ops or willingness to learn
Flexibility in personal schedule to respond to front end needs or to cover shifts
Friendly, motivated attitude
