There is snow on the ground, holiday songs in the air, splashes of red, gold, green, and silver all around with an added sparkle when seen through those frozen eyelashes. People are bustling about as they gather what is needed to create warm and cozy nests to burrow into as the days get shorter. Glowing lights adorn houses and trees, scrumptious feasts are concocted in the kitchen, beds are prepped for company, and loving gifts are dressed in shiny wrapping all in preparation for the gathering of friends and family.
These intimate gatherings are important, but there is a larger family that also needs our support so that they canÂ
be there for us as well, our communities. In Springfield, VT we have just such a community, full of local shops eager to supply us with our holiday needs. Whether it’s food from the Co-op, drinks from Joe’s, your table centerpiece from Woodbury Florist, all sorts of gifts from Vault, an appointment at Boccaccio’s Salon so you can look your finest for the holidays, or even a visit to Vianor who will care for your car so you can reach family safely. All of these businesses, and many more, can’t be here without our support and so the Springfield Vermont Area Local Loyalty program has been born!
It’s a simple little card that hopes to inspire you to shop locally, perhaps it will even expose you to businesses you didn’t know existed here in town, and in the end you have the exciting chance to win from a selection of raffles, each unique to every one of the businesses involved (all between $50 and $100 value, ooh la la)! Here’s how the program works…
🍎Pick up a Local Loyalty card at one of the participating businesses (listed below).
🍎Until December 24th for every $10 you spend at a participating business you receive a stamp on your Local Loyalty card.
🍎After ten stamps you are eligible to enter the card into the raffle of your choosing (each business has its own).
🍎Start a new card and go for it again!
🍎Eagerly await January 4th, 2019 for news of the selected winners!
